You show up to the parties and everyone is on their A-game. Arena Style GU: Dressing up for Fashion Week is a sport in and of itself. We always pregame before games-always-it’s a tradition we don’t miss!įront Row vs.

Unless my friends are staying at our house, we all get dressed separately and the only thing we ask one another is if something is see-through or if they could lose their jobs if they are seen on TV based on their outfits. Adrienne Bosh is very classic, classy chic Alexis Stoudemire mixes it up constantly and looks fab and Faith Haslem has the most unique sense of style of anyone I know: If I could live in her closet I would die a happy woman. We do have very fashion-forward Heat wives who have very different styles. Pre-Gaming With Your Squad GU: My Los Angeles and New York City friends who come to games are always a great, fun bunch, and they generally dress so they can hit LIV after the game, comfort be damned. My new faves are my deep green Chanel bag, nude Céline, Marc Jacobs maroon bag, and a DVF animal-print cross-body bag.

I find cross-body purses are the best because they leave your hands free to clap and cheer. You have to be a gal who is okay with putting a large amazing bag on the floor or putting your clutch or bag in your lap the whole game. It’s kind of funny because these are the things you have to take into account, because the person sitting next to you doesn’t want to fight you for space! Therefore sometimes a clutch is really cool or just a smaller bag that can fit under the seat is a good fit. so I try to keep it in a size that will be easy to manage. What to Carry to the Court LA: I try to stay away from the bigger bags only because, “Where are you going to put ’em?!” You’re sitting in your seat and you’re trying to push your bag down, and if you have food there or your drink there. Jennifer Fisher actually made them for me, so I wear them often. I have necklaces with Melo’s initial, my son’s initial, and Melo’s number-the number 7-and I wear those because I love them. LA: It’s not one particular thing, but I definitely wear jewelry to a game. I’m obsessed with my Aquazzura suede sandals with the high tan heel, black Alaïa suede high boots, Saint Laurent boots, Gianvito Rossi, Paul Andrews. GU: If I opt for heels, I’m going for it-pulling out the big guns. Because you also want to be comfortable! You’re walking on these wooden floors, people are seeing you, you’re walking across the court, and you don’t want to barely be able to walk! The higher heels you would wear to an event just won’t last through a game, and you don’t want to seem like you’re suffering when you’re supposed to be cheering and having a good time!

I have a pair of Chanel boots that I love, some Saint Laurents that I love. For the heels themselves, I’m definitely more of a heeled-ankle-boot kind of girl. Just to mix it up, if my husband has a sneaker that just dropped, I’ll wear those. Shoe Game LA: In life I’m a bit of a sneakers girl, but for the games-not always.

Rag & Bone also-they’re great designers who we actually know very well. I still love J Brand and Topshop jeans-they have a lot of stretch to them and they fit through the body really well-so those are my staples. LA: My personal favorites are Frame jeans. I’m excited to debut my new Li-Ning high-tops I designed, the Zen Panda: I’ve discovered you can be sexy and comfortable! More recently, I’ve become a sneakerhead and love to get creative with styling for my sneakers. But if we are heading home afterward, I may wear drop-crotch jeans, a flannel, and a sweatshirt with sneakers. If I know we are hitting the town after the game, I’ll turn it up a notch. Courtside Staples GU: In Miami, it’s always warm, so the weather really dictates a lot of what I wear, but I also let my current mood determine it.
